The Rio Climate Challenge 2013 was dedicated do various economic aspects of decarbonizing the economies. The issue of the GDP as the main metric of contemporary economy eventual alternatives to it, the subsidies for fossil fuels, the carbon taxation and the pricing of carbon and of the minus-carbon. The notion of positive pricing that was to be recognized in the Paragraph 108 of the Paris Decision was first raised in this event.
