The purpose of the Climate Forum 2019 was to discuss the role of subnational climate action and assess where we stand - both globally and nationally - regarding adaptation and mitigation of Climate Change at the beginning of 2019. To know more, please click in the link below.
It was a 3 day event. Very diversified. We celebrated the 25th anniversary of the 1992 Earth Summit, in Rio. The UN was represented by the executive secretary od the UNEP, Eric Solheim and the event included a meeting in Brasilia with the President of Brazil, Michel Temer and two days in Rio.
Demonstrations to fight climate change

The Global March for Climate, in Rio, 2015
On Sunday, November 29, in cities around the world, there were global climate marches aimed at pushing the Paris Climate Conference for more ambitious targets in reducing greenhouse gas emissions.
