Amapa's forum host a meeting about climate change

Next Monday, the Centro Brasil no Clima is going to be at Amapaense Climate Change Forum and Environmental Services. Alfredo Sirkis, executive director of the CBC, speaks about the opportunities for raising international funds for low carbon projects. The forum aims to mobilize society to discuss and take a position on climate change and conservation of environmental services.
The event takes place in the SEMA-AP auditorium at 15h. Parallel to the forum, the CBC participates, in the morning, in the SEMA-AP hall of the Bioeconomy Technical Seminar. Sérgio Xavier, deputy executive director of CBC, presents the Macapá Biofuels Platform project. It is an initiative which has the objective to use organic waste and açaí residues in biofuel production.
He also explains the implementation of the Circularis system, which encourages the circular economy by structuring the productive chains of recyclable materials. The debate will have the presence of the president of the Platform of BioQuerosene e Renováveis and representatives of the government of Amapá. The seminar happens at 8h30.
