The Climate Reality Project Brasil

The Climate Reality Project is a global organization founded by the Nobel Peace Prize Al Gore. Since 2006 it has trained more than 9,000 climate leaders from more than 120 countries, thus creating a global network that influences public opinion and decision makers in both businesses and governments.
CBC has been representing the Climate Reality Project in Brazil since January 2016. There are more than 500 climate leaders trained in our country who are prepared to hold presentations about the urgency involving the climate crisis and are actively influencing and informing companies, governments as well as the public opinion on the solutions that we need to create in order to resolve this crisis that threatens us all.
More importantly, we can show that these choices are no longer costly - on the contrary, they can leverage our economy into an era of unprecedented prosperity. But first we must have the courage to change and take the first step.
The Climate Reality Brazil conducts many programs, projects and campaigns to engage the public with climate change subject. One of the actions by The Climate Reality Brazil is the Climate Education and Youth Seminar, which aimed to develop a dialogue among teenagers about how climate impacts in their own lives. The Climate Reality Brazil has also engaged with schools and universities, offering presentations to teachers, principals, and students, focusing on enabling teachers to educate on the topic, and raising the awareness of children and youth about climate change.
